Welcome to Polu Manu Productions website.  I am Bird Levy.  I represent, market and promote artists and their works.  I also work through a venue in San Francisco called Encantada Gallery, located at 908 Valencia Street in the historic Mission District of San Francisco.  Encantada has been established for 10 years,  the gallery features many local artists works as well as one of a kind gift items, pottery, textiles, books and a selection of smaller original artworks.

Currently, Shawn Griggs work is up and on view at the gallery.  Shawn has been making quite a name for himself in his hometown of Ferndale, California and here in San Francisco.  He is an awesome waterman, artist and family man.    Last year he was invited to the Kimball Gallery at the DeYoung Museum where he installed two pieces for their Dia de los Muertos show.  This year for some events around the bay area he is featured at several venues.  Encantada Gallery, Gallery 94124 and Puerto Allegre, a popular local Mexican  Restaurant and at the SOMA Cultural Center where his new work, Esperanza can be seen.  You can view Shawn’s by clicking on links and scrolling down to Shawn Griggs. 

I hope you will take the time to visit my Leonard Peltier link.  I am one of Leonard’s representatives in the bay area, his work can be seen at Encantada Gallery or by appointment.  Some of you may be too young to know who Leonard is, please go to www.whoisleonardpeltier.com for more information about this Native American activist and Political prisoner.  Leonard is currently serving his 33rd year behind bars, he is located at the US Federal Penitentiary in Lewisburg. PA.  We hope to have a show of Leonard’s work early ’09 with an auction to follow in May to raise funds for the Peltier Defense Fund in N.
